The first is that consumers are more aware of the damaging effects of the sun's UV harmful rays that can cause skin Cancer. Factory tint on side car windows and rear windows does not prevent the harmful rays from coming into the interior space of your car and harming your skin or fading your interior. Any quality window film will block up to 99 % of the UV rays.
The second trend is that window film has a lot more technology behind it. New films today have coating on them that will not interfere with radio signals, such as GPS, cell phones, radio and other devices. Some of the older films had heavy metal coating that did sometimes interfere with signals.

We recommend that you leave your windows up for 3 days after they are tinted. This will allow the film time to dry to the glass so it will not peel when it is finally rolled down.
For the first few days after tinting, your windows will be cloudy, hazy, and you may see little water pockets forming in the tint. THIS IS NORMAL!! When windows are tinted, the squeegee can only remove a certain amount of the water from between the film and the glass. As film dries, the remaining water will simply evaporate and the water pockets will go away by themselves. The amount of time before your tint will be totally dry is determined by the amount of sunlight it gets.
Cleaning:
After your windows are tinted you need to wait til tint is totally dried before you clean the inside of the window. Basically you don't want to risk pulling the tint loose before it has a chance to dry in place. You need to have a soft towelo and a non-ammonia cleaner to clean the tint. (any blue cleaners contain ammonia). You can use Vinegar Windex Green or any citrus Windex, soap and water, or vinegar and water.
